Prof. Dr. Mowaffaq Yahya Hamdoun, president of the Northern Technical University, opened today the workshop held by the secretariat of implementing the Government program in the presidency of the university headed by assistant professor Alia Abbas al-Attar assistant Rector for Scientific Affairs, and at the beginning of the workshop Dr. Muwafaq talked About the government program and indicated that the government program of the Ministry of Higher Education and scientific research aims to develop the higher education sector through visions and ideas translated into projects, the ministry has set a time to complete those projects and with constructive cooperation between the departments of the ministry concerned and universities. The Northern Technical University strives to implement the government program in accordance with the program’s five objectives. The University has formed committees and subcommittees and has supported it in the spirit of teamwork in order to accomplish its tasks to the fullest. Dr. Alia Al Attar delivered a speech in which she stated that the university has made good strides in many areas in the implementation of this program and is striving to complete the requirements to be achieved. The workshop aimed to publicize the special government Program of the Ministry of Higher Education and scientific Research and the Ministry’s plan to implement the program through five goals set. The first of these aims to enter the universities in the global classifications, which was the focus of the study presented by Prof. Dr. thanon Younis Hussain, and was the focus of the second study revolves around the publication in the World scientific journals and its controls and delivered by Dr. Omar Rafaa Al-Omar, and the third axis revolves around Marketing of Scientific Productions Mr. Thaer Faiez Ahmed presented his studies, and in a study presented by Mr. Nawar Ali Sultan, he addressed the electronic administration, which is expected to achieve a qualitative leap in the management of Iraqi universities, and the e-learning that has been adopted by many universities of developed countries in The world. Mr. Ali Ogor spoke about the importance of the website in obtaining a good ranking in the global rankings and in the national classification of Iraqi universities, and included extensive discussions and interventions in which the participants were enriched with ideas and insights. The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al Azzawi, dean of Administrative Technical College, Dr. Thaer Ali, dean of technical Engineering College, Mosul, and assistant Professor Ghassan Al-Obaidi, dean of the Institute of Mosul and a large collection of university training and associates.
