Summary of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division
The Division of Rehabilitation and Follow-up was established by administrative Order 7/35/2243 dated 4/4/2017. The functions of the division were received by Dr. Jamal Nayef under letter 1/35/2244 on 10/4/2017 at the Presidency of the Northern Technical University (Technical Education Foundation) Baghdad Al – Mansour Street.
The members of the units were assigned to all units of the Northern University under the administrative orders documented by the Assistant President of the University for scientific affairs.
Tasks of the division:
1-Training and qualification of students with additional skills for the purpose of integrating them into the labor market by setting up training workshops in this field.
2-Assist in recruiting graduates by contacting private and government companies to find job opportunities that suit their aspirations and gain academic experience in their universities and training experience in the rehabilitation, employment and follow-up people.
3-Coordinating, preparing and setting up job fairs in cooperation with private and governmental companies for the purpose of communicating with them by graduate students.
4-Follow-up graduates after employment, identify the strengths and weaknesses in their performance and submit periodic reports to their colleges on the amendment of the curriculum according to the demands of the labor market.
Vision :
Provide the local labor market with technical graduates with sufficient capabilities and skills to contribute reducing unemployment, integrating into the labor market and developing the public and private sectors.
Objectives:
- Encouraging graduates to create new jobs through small and medium enterprises.
2-Dissemination of the idea of working in the private sector rather than the public sector.
3 -Provide the labor market with staff of technical graduates who have the qualified skills for the labor market.
4 -sustainability of students continue with economic institutions and international and local organizations and trade unions and others.
